Summer Private Lessons
This summer we are proud to offer private lessons ONLINE!
As in the past, there are two levels of private lessons to choose from. Private lessons are broken into groupings of six, 30 min. lessons, and students are more than welcome to sign up for multiple sessions throughout the summer (this means you could do multiple lessons per week, take a break and sign up for more, or even stack two 30 min. lessons for an hour lesson).
The lesson schedule will be decided upon correspondence between student and teacher. If you have any questions, please email our Director Dr. Alexander Koops at [email protected]
Regarding Payment: Payment must be submitted either at registration, or by the first day of class. It is STRONGLY preferred that you pay online, but mailing a check is also acceptable. For more information, visit our Payments page.

We have two levels of private lessons: Private Professional Lessons taught by our ACM professional level teachers or Student Teacher Private Lessons taught by APU music majors. We offer private lessons on all instruments for both levels.
Student Teacher Private Lessons are offered on all instruments. These lessons are taught by APU music majors who are currently earning their music degrees at APU. These well educated and dedicated music majors will provide 6, 30 min. lessons. Your child's lesson time will be arranged to fit class schedules and you will be contacted the week before for specific lesson times.
For Private Professional Lessons we always have on staff a professional level guitar, voice and piano teacher as those are our most popular lessons. If you need professional level lessons for any other instrument please choose "Other Private Professional Lessons" and list the instrument your child plays. We will then hire a professional from our list of available instructors for you. Six, 30 min lessons will be given by one of our professional teachers. Lessons are by arrangement and students will be prepared for participation in the end of semester recital. Scholarship are not available for Private Professional Lessons.
Student Teacher Private Lessons
Days and Times: Six, 30 min. sessions dependent upon teacher and student availability (scheduled through teacher contact)
Cost: $150 total for six, 30 min. lessons. (Full hour lessons are available!)

Private Professional Voice Lessons
Days and Times: Six, 30 min. sessions dependent upon teacher and student availability (scheduled through teacher contact)
Ages: 11 and up, under 11 by audition.
Cost: $220 total for six, 30 min lessons. (Full hour lessons are available!)
