The History Of Rock and Roll

History of Rock ’n’ Roll is fun and educational study of the origins of most of the popular music of the 20th and 21st centuries. We will be exploring the historical and social context that created different styles of rock and other popular genres such as country, soul, heavy metal, R&B, funk, and hip-hop. Students will learn about many influential groups, music, and movements of music and their connections to modern popular music and the artists from the past that have led the way.
