Private Lessons
We have two levels of private lessons: Private Professional Lessons taught by our ACM professional level teachers or Student Teacher Private Lessons taught by APU music majors. We offer private lessons on all instruments for both levels.
Student Teacher Private Lessons are offered on all instruments. These lessons are taught by APU music majors who are currently earning their music degrees at APU. These well educated and dedicated music majors will provide 30 min lessons on Saturday mornings for 10 weeks. Your child's lesson time will be arranged to fit class schedules and you will be contacted the week before for specific lesson times.
For Private Professional Lessons we always have on staff a professional level guitar, voice and piano teacher as those are our most popular lessons. If you need professional level lessons for any other instrument please choose "Other Private Professional Lessons" and list the instrument your child plays. We will then hire a professional from our list of available instructors for you. Eleven, 30 min lessons will be given over the course of 10 weeks by one of our professional teachers. Lessons are by arrangement and students will be prepared for participation in the end of semester recital. Scholarship are not available for Private Professional Lessons.*
*For all minors (under 18), legal parent or guardian must be present in person on the first zoom call lesson to confirm and approve the lessons or make a separate zoom appointment to verify and approve the lessons.
